On 13 December, in the darkest part of winter, Swedes celebrate Lucia with songs, candles and saffron buns. Mio has joined the procession through the snowy streets of Gamla Stan.

Fun facts for kids
- Lucia wears a crown of candles and a white gown with a red sash.
- Saffron buns are called lussekatter, which means 'Lucia cats'!
- Star boys (stjärngossar) carry stars on sticks and wear tall paper hats.
